Dr. Julie Melbinger-Wagner
PRACTICE OWNER
I’m Dr. Julie Melbinger-Wagner, and I bring 23 years of experience as a licensed dentist. I was born and raised in Medford, WI, where my father practiced dentistry for 35 years. My father's dedication inspired my own path in the field.
I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from Marquette University. After dental school, I completed a general practice residency at the V.A. Zablocki Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Since 1995, I’ve been proud to call Milwaukee home, where I live with my husband and our three children, Ella, Claire, and Andrew. In my free time, I enjoy skiing with my family, supporting my kids as they learn violin and cello, trying new cooking projects, and staying involved at their school.
Dr. Sofia Enea
DENTAL ASSOCIATE
I'm Dr. Sofia and I grew up in Whitefish Bay, WI. I attended University of Wisconsin-Madison for my undergraduate degree. I became interested in dentistry when I started assisting my dentist during college. I loved meeting new patients and helping them achieve their dental goals in the office. I attended dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Post graduation, I am an active participant in continuing education and a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association.
I am very excited to be working in the Mequon community, close to where I grew up! I enjoy all components of dentistry, especially children. I love being able to help patients of all ages understand the treatment they are receiving and why. When I am not practicing dentistry, I enjoy running half marathons with dental school friends, yoga and volunteering at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Show me pictures of your pets!
Cindy
Hi, I’m Cindy and I work with the fabulous team at Mequon Smile Design! I love my role in our office, especially interacting with our wonderful patients as they enter our space. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, traveling and staying active by playing golf, working out at Orange Theory, gardening, and reading. Before joining Mequon Smile Design, I worked as a teacher for 35 years, spending 30 of those years at Wilson Elementary School, here in Mequon. I am looking forward to continuing to develop relationships with our client community!
Ellaya
Hello my name is Ellaya Kucharski and I have had the opportunity to work at Mequon Smile Design for the past three years. I am originally from Cedarburg, WI and went to Marquette University to get my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Working at Mequon Smile Design has allowed me to gain my own experiences in the dental field. I will be using these experiences as I start at Creighton University School of Dentistry in the Fall of 2025. Besides denistry I am passionate about service to others, I am heavily involved in Camp Kesem and Global Medical Brigades. In my free time I am often reading, coloring, or spending time with friends and family.
Mindy
My name is Mindy, and I have many years of experience as a dedicated dental hygienist; I truly love what I do. Caring for my patients goes far beyond routine care—it's about creating a comfortable, positive experience and delivering the highest quality of care every single day. This work is deeply meaningful to me, and I put my heart into it with every patient I see. Outside the office, I’m all about family. My husband, Matt, and I are proud parents of three amazing kids, and our lives are full of activity. Whether we’re at the track, soccer field, gymnasium, or ice rink, you’ll find us cheering each other on and enjoying the moment. We love going up north or taking a vacation together whenever we can—staying active and making memories is what we cherish most.
Natalie
My name is Natalie, and I’m from Green Bay. I graduated from Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College and have a passion for building meaningful relationships with patients while being a calming presence in the dental chair. Having struggled with dental anxiety myself growing up, I strive to create a safe, comfortable experience for every patient who walks through the door. I’ve had the privilege of giving back to the community through organizations like Team Smiles, which provides free dental care to children in need, and WDA Mission of Mercy, which provides free dental care for all ages targeting underserved populations. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and our golden retriever. I love the outdoors, am an avid country concert goer, and have recently fallen in love with pickleball.
Nicole
I am Nicole, Office Manager and part of the amazing team at Mequon Smile Design. I bring years of experience and a deep-rooted passion for dentistry. I grew up in Wauwatosa and still reside there. I was introduced to the dental field through my father, a dedicated dentist. I had the privilege of working alongside him, managing, growing, and eventually helping to transition his practice upon his retirement. At Mequon Smile Design, I enjoy building relationships with our patients and take pride in helping them navigate their dental insurance to make the most of their benefits and receive the care they need. Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, biking, skiing, and renovating properties with my husband. I also cherish time spent with family and friends, especially anywhere near a lake or in the mountains.
Taylor
My name is Taylor and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist at Mequon Smile Design. I grew up in Oak Creek, WI, and attended dental hygiene school at Milwaukee Area Technical College. I strive to offer a comfortable and welcoming environment when providing patient care. My passion is making patients confident in their smile. I moved to Port Washington 3 years ago and in my free time I love to play pickleball, cook, walk my German Shepard and Corgi, and visit new restaurants in the area.
